As Founder and Managing Partner of Oak Valley Capital, Joe leads the firm’s leveraged buyout strategy, portfolio operations, and advisory services. He focuses on institutional-grade deal execution, operational value creation, and long-term portfolio performance.
Prior to founding Oak Valley Capital, Joe worked in commercial brokerage at Marcus & Millichap, where he advised institutions and private clients on the acquisition and disposition of hospitality assets. His responsibilities included underwriting and financial analysis, negotiations, capital formation, the development of value creation strategies across client portfolios, and ensuring successful capital event.
Before transitioning into commercial real estate, Joe invested in and sold residential real estate full-time from 2015 to 2019, developing experience in acquisitions, negotiations, and transaction execution.
Joe is also an infantry Marine combat veteran whose background helped shape the discipline, resilience, and leadership principles that continue to influence his approach to business and operations.
Beyond business, Joe values time with family and friends and remains committed to pursuits centered on discipline, endurance, and personal growth, including leadership development, executive education, fitness, and outdoor activities.
