As Senior Operating Partner, Wayne brings 25+ years of cross-industry experience to Oak Valley Capital, with a strong background in construction, telecom, service maintenance, direct-to-commercial/consumer, and wholesale distribution. His experience across leadership, operations, P&L management, and process development is complemented by his expertise in the statistical analysis of key performance indicators to drive long-term business alignment and performance, allowing him to navigate the complexities of construction operational environments with confidence. At OVC, he applies this experience to support portfolio company leadership, drive operational rigor, and execute scalable value-creation initiatives across acquisitions and post-close integration.
Wayne has built, led, and managed companies of up to 1,000+ employees, with as many as 15 direct reports across nine different business disciplines spanning multiple geographic territories. He has served as President and CEO of multiple organizations across public, private, and private equity-backed companies, with revenues up to $200 million. Throughout his career, he has been an Operating Partner, strategic advisor, and board member to multiple Private Equity and Investment Banking firms for operational diligence, while leading many mergers and acquisitions to expand the organizations’ strategic capabilities.
Wayne holds an MBA from the University of Denver, a B.A. in Marketing from the University of New Mexico, an Executive Education Certification in Strategic Marketing from Stanford University, and certifications in Integrated Product Strategy and Strategic Mergers and Acquisitions from the California Institute of Technology.
